A cover of another artist’s performance. The original work changed my life, but its title and author is forever lost to my mind's artwork archive. After almost ten years of searching for them, I have no other choice but to start restaging the performance. In, 2022
A multi staged funerary ritual where dying is a mental exercise. For one hour, participants and artist pretend that they are dying, sinking deeper in to death through a guided meditation. The performance is framed by monologue, touch, popular music and the metaphor of melting inwards, ultimately using ritual as a conduit for the fiction that it is possible to imagine ones own death.
